Nature's antiseptic

Nature's antiseptic Australian aboriginies have long recognised the powerful healing properties of the oil harvested from the native tea tree.

But it wasn't until 1925 that an Australian government research chemist discovered that tea tree oil was 12 times stronger than anti-bacterial phenol (carbolic acid) - the universal antiseptic used at the time.

Tea tree oil was widely used to treat wounds during the second world war.

Today, it can be found in a wide range of natural products. The oil we use in our natural hand washes is certified organic.
